Littlefield Denim Textile Plant
One of the largest and most modern of its kind in the world. It is a showplace for the US cotton industry, covering more than 10 acres under one roof. The entire production process begins with the growing of cotton in the field, which then goes to the gin, with the unopened bale entering on the north end of the plant and the finished denim exiting on the south end of the plant.
The Denim Textile Plant of Littlefield utilizes the latest techniques and technology along with traditional manufacturing methods to consume about 115,000 bales of raw cotton producing approximately 36 million linear yards of denim each year. The Littlefield Denim Textile Plant has made Littlefield the denim capitol of the West, producing enough denim to make about 24 million pairs of blue jeans each year.
